Begoñazpi Ikastola is organised in a participating system, this means that it is based on the participation of the entire Educational Community. Therefore, it will be the families, teaching staff, students, service staff and the holder of the school, who together will make an effort to obtain the general objectives of the Ikastola.
This participation demands that everyone become involved in the Ikastola's day to day life by means of the commitment and responsibility of each of the members of the Educational Community.
In the Ikastola's organization, we specify two levels: management level and functional level
.
In the management level, as a last resort
- · guidelines are established.
- · plans are approved.
- · course of events and results are assessed.
of all of the Educational Community's activities.
In the
functional level, it is here that activities are carried out, following the schemes which have been laid out according to the guidelines which have stemmed from the management teams, who as a last resort will approve those plans and assess their fulfilment.

In the Ikastola's management the following take part:
- · Member organs:
- School Board.
- Management team.
- · Unipersonal Organs:
The management structure covers
two areas: the pedagogic area and the economic-administrative area.
The
pedagogic area is the fundamental one and the one which bestows the Ikastola its mere being. It is made up of all the teaching staff's work, and all the school and extracurricular activities which are geared towards stimulating students' protagonism with the achievement of having them be mature as people and as Basques in addition to being inspired in Christian values.
- · Management organs:
- Head of Studies.
- Coordinators of Stages.
- Department Heads.
- · Other organs which partake in the Ikastola's management:
- Cloister.
- Level Coordinators.
- Teacher-Tutor.
- Advisor-Counsellor.
The economic-administrative area is a support area which is in charge of the Ikastola's administration and services.
The functions of all of the organs will be outlined in the Interior Regime Regulation and in the Operations Manual.
The selection of the members of the different organs will be carried out according to the laws and regulations which are to be applied and they will be based on the principle that each person picks their own team, with the exception of the School Board, as it is a representative organ.
